David Fletcher Extends Hitting Streak Friday Night
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels infielder David Fletcher extended his hitting streak to 25 games Friday night, going 3-for-5 with a double in the Angels loss to the Seattle Mariners. Fletcher, who posted a .261/.292/.302 slash line over his first 50 games, has come alive of late and is now hitting .314 with a .388 slugging percentage, 54 runs and 33 RBI. The hitting streak is now tied with Rod Carew for the second-longest in Angels history and is only three games short of tying the franchise record. Fletcher should continue to give fantasy managers batting average production, as he's hit at least .290 each of the last three seasons, and he should be rostered in most formats.
