6 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder David Fletcher will leadoff Wednesday against left-hander Martin Perez and the Twins. After a mini-lull at the plate Fletcher has continued his surprising staying power to start the season. He has four multi-hit games over his last seven played and is hitting .385 during that span batting from the bottom of the order. Fletcher is hitting only .203 this season against left-handed pitching but is hitting .290 when batting leadoff and .357 in the first inning of games. Fletcher should see more opportunities to score runs Wednesday hitting in front of Mike Trout.--Joey C - RotoBaller
