David Fletcher Sparks Angels In Eighth Inning
4 years agoLos Angeles Angels second baseman David Fletcher went 1-for-4 with one run scored in the Angels 4-3 comeback win over the White Sox on Opening Day. Fresh off signing a $26 million-dollar extension, Fletcher sparked a two-run eighth inning with an infield single. The 26-year-old brings a career .291 batting average through 284 games into the season and will try and set the table for a potentially dangerous Angels offense this season. Expect Fletcher back at the top of the lineup heading into Friday's action.
