5 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop David Fletcher (shoulder) is out of the lineup Monday for the third consecutive game with a shoulder injury. Thus far Fletcher is not expected to miss extended time or need a trip to the injured list. Fletcher has filled in admirably in a number of roles for the Angels this season, posting a .797 OPS through 62 games while playing third base, shortstop, second base and left field. Fletcher has proven to be a valuable piece to the Angels and has been a good fantasy find as a Swiss Army knife fill-in at multiple positions. We should receive further updates on Fletcher’s availability going forward following Monday’s game.--Walt Clark
