6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder David Freese made another start at first base on Tuesday in Arizona, going 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles, a run scored and two RBI to push his hitting streak to 10 games. He is 14-for 29 (.483) with 11 runs scored, three homers and nine RBI during his impressive run, pushing his average up from .219 to .301 as a result of the streak dating back to May 18. Freese hit .385 in 19 games down the stretch with the Dodgers after coming over from the Pirates midseason and he hasn't shown any signs of slowing down.--Daniel Dobish
