David Irving Suspended for Four Games
7 years agoDallas Cowboys defensive lineman David Irving was suspended by the NFL for four games for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. He won't be able to take the field until the Week 5 game against the Houston Texans. Irving failed a test and served a four-game suspension in 2017 as well. Entering a contract year, Irving was a candidate for a big-money, long-term extension, but recent reports state that the Cowboys are no longer interested in continuing the relationship beyond this season's restricted free-agent tender.
