6 years agoArizona Cardinals running back David Johnson does not expect to sign a new deal before the team's game against the Redskins in Week 1. Johnson is in the last year of his rookie contract. Coming off of his wrist injury, Johnson has to have a great season if he wants to earn what some of his peers have recently been given. That being said, the extra motivation should make him a top RB1 candidate for the season and one of the highest scoring players at his position each week, starting against the Redskins.--mkmillwall
