David Johnson The Epitome Of A Gamble
5 years agoArizona Cardinals running back David Johnson had no touches in the game two weeks ago before the bye week. He practiced all week, and he seemed good to go, but the team opted to roll with Kenyan Drake. Now Chase Edmonds (hamstring) is healthy, and he may make things even more confusing as general manager Steve Keim said they may put all three on the field at the same time. If you own Johnson, you're in a tough spot because he was likely taken as an RB1. He's unlikely to serve as such the rest of the season. However, he could be featured in any given week since the Cards are trying their best to use smoke and mirrors. Johnson is an RB2 against the Los Angeles Rams, and you just have to hope for the best if you use him. It's just hard to believe that they're paying him all this money to post up on the bench.
