6 years agoArizona Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks said running back David Johnson will be used more out of the slot moving forward in order to utilize him in space. About time. It took the Cardinals being outscored 58-6 in the first two weeks Wilks and the coaching staff to change things up. Johnson attempted 22 rushes for 85 yards (3.9 yards per carry) and had just six receptions in the first two weeks, making him a massive disappointment as a top-five fantasy pick in most drafts.
