5 years agoChicago Bears running back David Montgomery enjoyed his best day as a pro, rushing for 135 yards and adding 12 receiving yards with one touchdown against the Chargers in Week 9. The rookie ran hard from the opening drive and finally was able to flash his elusive ability in the second level of the defense. Montgomery ripped off a 55-yard run in the game and saw a career-high 27 carries in the game. The Bears finally got the ground game going but failed to capitalize on several red zone opportunities. Nonetheless, Montgomery's arrow is pointing up heading into a tilt next week against the Eagles.--Joey C - RotoBaller
