4 years agoChicago Bears running back David Montgomery carried the ball 19 times for 58 yards with four catches for 39 yards in the Bears 23-16 win over the Panthers in Week 6. The Bears running game has struggled for weeks now and the ineptitude continued. But Montgomery made some plays in the passing game in the first half and grinded out some tough runs for first downs down the stretch. The second-year running back almost found the end zone but official review nullified the score and Montgomery will have RB2 status, based on volume, against the Rams in Week 7.--Joey C - RotoBaller
