David Montgomery Has Difficult Matchup Against Bucs

4 years agoChicago Bears running back David Montgomery will face a stout Buccaneers Defense as the two teams will lock horns to kick off Week 5 on Thursday night. It has been a lukewarm start to Montgomery's season as the Bears offensive line has taken steps backwards the last two weeks. Tampa Bay can be beaten in the passing game by running backs but have not allowed an opposing runner to post more than 59 rushing yards against them. Montgomery could offer some value in the passing game but coach Matt Nagy has shown a tendency to bail on the running game when the team falls behind. Montgomery will be a shaky RB2 selection heading into Thursday Night Football.--Joey C - RotoBaller
