David Montgomery Has Tasty Tilt Against Panthers

4 years agoChicago Bears running back David Montgomery will have an excellent fantasy opportunity in Week 6 against the Panthers. The second-year running back has produced mixed results through the first five games, producing only 371 all-purpose yards while averaging only 3.7 yards per rush. Montgomery will have a fantastic matchup, however, against a Panthers Defense that is allowing the most fantasy points to running backs this season. Carolina has allowed nine total touchdowns to running backs this season, including 23 fantasy points or more to four different runners. Montgomery has gotten off to slow starts in games but has finished strong. He will have lower-level RB2 value in Week 6.--Joey C - RotoBaller
