6 years agoChicago Bears running back David Montgomery will make his NFL debut when the team opens up their 2019 season September 5 against the Packers. The rookie's first taste of the NFL will come on national TV and will be against the team's most hated rival in Green Bay. Montgomery played in the team's first preseason game but has been kept on ice since. In that first glimpse, Montgomery looked quick, elusive and exactly what the Bears running game has been looking for. It is tough to forecast his level of involvement right out of the gate but Montgomery is expected to be the team's starting running back by season's end.--Joey C - RotoBaller
