3 years agoChicago Bears running back David Montgomery has a knee sprain and reportedly will miss the next four to five weeks. The Bears RB suffered a left knee injury in Sunday's win over the Detroit Lions and did not return. The 24-year-old underwent an MRI on Monday, which revealed a knee sprain. He is expected to be placed on the short-term injured reserve and will be out of action for at least four weeks. Damien Williams (thigh) will be the Bears' primary running back while Montgomery is sidelined. Williams is dealing with a thigh bruise, but should be all systems go for Week 5 against the Las Vegas Raiders. The 29-year-old carried the ball eight times for 55 yards and a touchdown against Detroit. Fantasy managers should look to add Williams off the waiver wire and considered him an RB3/flex option in Week 5.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
