5 years agoChicago Bears running back David Montgomery carried the ball 14 times for 40 yards with 36 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the Bears 22-14 loss to the Eagles. The Bears offense was dormant in the opening half, but the rookie running back helped make things interesting in the second half. Montgomery ran smooth between the tackles during the game and picked up a nice 30-yard reception to set up his second rushing touchdown. It won't make the box score, but the rookie dropped a pass late in the fourth quarter that easily could have turned into either a huge gain or his third score of the day. The Bears offense is heading south, but Montgomery is on the rise and now has five touchdowns on the season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
