5 years agoChicago Bears running back David Montgomery carried the ball 16 times for 75 yards, including a touchdown reception, in the Bears 24-20 win over the Lions on Thanksgiving. The rookie running back averaged 4.7 yards per carry and consistently came up with positive yardage. He was strong in the running game, but his biggest play came in the fourth quarter when he caught a pass from quarterback Mitch Trubisky in the red zone for the game-winning score. Montgomery's fantasy value appears to be capped at an RB2 level, but he should continue to produce at that rate moving forward.--Joey C - RotoBaller
