2 years agoCleveland Browns tight end David Njoku caught his lone target for a seven-yard gain in a 26-24 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 1. The one-catch game comes as a disappointment as Njoku was a popular sleeper pick at tight end in fantasy during the preseason. Instead, he was outproduced by backup tight end Harrison Bryant, who caught two passes for 18 yards. The Cleveland offense was content to lean on the running game in Week 1 instead of putting too much on Jacoby Brissett's plate. That could be an issue for Njoku going forward as it will limit the explosive tight end's ceiling. Treat the veteran tight end as a mid-range TE2 heading into a Week 2 matchup against the New York Jets.--Matt T - RotoBaller
