David Njoku Impresses In Joint Practice With Giants
3 years agoCleveland Browns tight end David Njoku turned in an impressive performance in a joint practice with the New York Giants on Thursday. Njoku reportedly dominated in one-on-one drills against the New York secondary, snagging three balls overs defenders' heads in the session. The veteran tight end has some sleeper appeal this season as Cleveland.com beat reporter Mary Kay Cabot has been telling people to "watch out" for him in 2021. Talent has never been an issue for Njoku, but he has dealt with injuries, drops, and inconsistency during his tenure in Cleveland. He also has to share targets and tight-end snaps with starter Austin Hooper, but Njoku will be motivated to perform as he can be a free agent after the season. Njoku shouldn't be drafted in 12-team fantasy leagues but it's worth monitoring him in case he gets off to a hot start in 2021.
