David Njoku In A Great Position For Fantasy Success
2 years agoThe Athletic's Zac Jackson thinks this is finally the year for Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku to put up numbers. Harrison Bryant will still see plenty of snaps and get his share of opportunities in the passing game, but Njoku has never been in a better fantasy position. The Browns inexperienced behind receiver Amari Cooper, and the switch to Jacoby Brissett limits what the offense can do. Brissett will mostly be a game manager, but he's capable of throwing short passes over the middle, and it's clear he's built chemistry with Njoku. The 26-year-old won't be a top-five fantasy tight end by season's end, but he should have some big games along the way. Consider Njoku a fine TE2 with upside as a weekly streaming choice.
