David Njoku Looking To Break Out In Week 6
6 years agoCleveland Browns tight end David Njoku has shown positive signs over the past two weeks of action. The second-year tight end has drawn 18 targets over that span, which coincides with Baker Mayfield's first two NFL starts. Njoku appears to be entrenching himself as the No. 2 option in the passing game after Jarvis Landry with Mayfield under center. He will take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6 in what sets up as a tough matchup. Los Angeles' defense is the No. 1 ranked unit in the league in DVOA against enemy tight ends. Despite the positive signs from Njoku, the tough matchup leaves him as a high-end TE2 for Week 6.
