5 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder David Peralta is out of the lineup Monday with neck stiffness. Manager Torey Lovullo said he injured it in his final at-bat Saturday night and was forced to miss Sunday's game as well. The injury doesn't sound too severe and should be considered day-to-day. Peralta hasn't lived up to his 2018 home run total (30) with only 10 long balls on the year, but is still sporting a crisp .280 batting average. Expect the 31-year-old to return to action later this week. Joshua Rojas is taking his spot in the lineup batting sixth versus Rockies starter Peter Lambert.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
