2 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher David Peterson is expected to be recalled for Saturday's doubleheader against the Philadelphia Phillies. The left-hander could very well stay up at the big league with Carlos Carrasco (oblique) sidelined. He holds a 3.30 ERA and 91/38 K/BB ratio over 79 innings this season. Those are fairly decent stats, so Peterson could be someone worth snagging as a short term option. He's worth monitoring in most formats, assuming he does get recalled on Saturday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
