4 years agoThe New York Mets are sticking with their rookie starting pitcher David Peterson for their rotation, and he'll get the nod Sunday versus the Braves. The lefty had a decent MLB debut against the Red Sox earlier this week, allowing two runs over 5 2/3 innings with three strikeouts in the victory. He didn't have stellar Double-A numbers (4.19 ERA/1.34 WHIP), so he's not a player we need to rush to the waiver wire to add. He's worth monitoring for now, but it's likely he gets moved to the bullpen or the taxi squad at some point this season.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
