David Peterson Won’t Start Tuesday, To IL With Shoulder Fatigue
4 years agoNew York Mets left-handed pitcher David Peterson has been scratched from Tuesday’s start against the Marlins due to fatigue in his pitching shoulder, an ailment that will land him on the 10-day injured list. Corey Oswalt has been brought up and will start in Peterson’s place, although he has very little DFS intrigue as an emergency option. Peterson has impressed through his first four big league starts, compiling a 2.91 ERA and 1.15 WHIP to go along with three wins. His ailment is the latest in a string of injuries for Mets starters, which figures to tax the rotation and bullpen heavily moving forward.
