7 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher David Price came away with the victory in the matchup against Shohei Ohtani on Tuesday. Price was given 10 runs of support to make the task easier. He did have some command issues but finished the night with one run allowed in five innings with six strikeouts and four walks. He raised his record to 2-1 with 2.25 ERA and 17 strikeouts and removed any concerns of injury from leaving his prior start early. Price is scheduled to take on Oakland in his next outing. He has a 4-2 record with 3.13 ERA in nine career starts against the Athletics.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
