7 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher David Price left Wednesday's game after a 35-pitch first inning against the Yankees due to sensation in his left hand. He allowed four runs on three hits, including a two-run homer to Gary Sanchez. He also walked two and struck out one batter. Overall, it was a terrible outing, in part to Price lacking feeling in his fingertips. He will attempt to play catch at Fenway Park Thursday, according to Scott Lauber of ESPN.com. Manager Alex Cora feels he will be fine and stated that no further tests are scheduled. If Price stays on schedule, he will face off against the Orioles at home next week.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
