3 years agoChicago Cubs closer David Robertson picked up his seventh save of the season in Tuesday's 8-7 win over the Brewers. The veteran came on to pitch the ninth inning up by a run and delivered a 1-2-3 inning with a strikeout. Robertson has had a throwback season to this point, converting seven of nine save opportunities with a 1.96 ERA, 24 strikeouts, and nine walks over 18 1/3 innings pitched. The Cubs may not have a ton of save opportunities over the course of the season but Robertson seems to have the closer's role, making him worth a fantasy roster spot in roto leagues at least.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
