2 years agoChicago White Sox pitcher Davis Martin will start Saturday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He is expected to be recalled from Triple-A Charlotte before Saturday's start. The 25-year-old allowed three hits and one walk while striking out three across 5 1/3 innings in the previous start with the White Sox. He owns a 4.25 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and a 26:10 K: BB across 36 innings in 2022. "Carlos Perez getting a start when Davis Martin starts makes the most sense," said White Sox manager Tony La Russa. "Likely Saturday at home against Arizona."
