Dawson Knox Reaches Four-Year Extension With Bills
2 years agoThe Buffalo Bills agreed to a four-year, $53.6 million contract extension with tight end Dawson Knox on Wednesday, according to sources. The deal includes $31 million guaranteed and makes him one of the highest-paid tight ends in the league. Knox set career-highs in 2021 with 49 catches for 587 yards and nine touchdowns in the regular season, and he was Buffalo's second-most targeted player in the red zone (18 times), behind only No. 1 wideout Stefon Diggs. In three years with the Bills, the former third-rounder has caught 101 passes for 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns. Knox will remain a key part of Buffalo's high-octane passing offense in 2022 and should be considered a weekly TE1 for fantasy purposes. He'll get the Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night to kick off the 2022 regular season.
