Dean Kremer Takes The Loss Thursday
2 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Dean Kremer saw his record fall to 4-4 as his club was defeated by the Red Sox 4-3 on Thursday. The 26-year-old gave up four runs on six hits while walking one and striking out six over 5 2/3 IP to give him his third loss over his last four starts. After beginning the year with a sterling 1.29 ERA through his first five contests, Kremer has fell back to earth with a 5.60 ERA over his last seven games to give him a 3.69 ERA and 1.31 WHIP for the season. His 49/15 K/BB is decent enough, but he's too difficult to trust for fantasy until he can string together some more consistent performances. Kremer will travel to Canada to take on the Blue Jays in his next scheduled start where he should remain on fantasy benches.
