3 years agoVeteran free-agent wide receiver/kick returner DeAndre Carter agreed to an undisclosed deal with the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday. Carter spent the 2021 season with the Washington Commanders, returning 16 punts for 134 yards and 36 kickoffs for 904 yards and one touchdowns in 17 games (six starts). He also caught 24 of his 44 targets for 296 receiving yards and a career-high three touchdowns as the Commanders struggled for receiving help outside of Terry McLaurin. The 28-year-old should continue to return kicks in LA and will provide receiving depth behind Mike Williams, Keenan Allen, Jalen Guyton and Josh Palmer. Carter has only 58 career receptions for 682 yards and three touchdowns in four NFL seasons, so he won't have any fantasy value during draft season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
