DeAndre Hopkins: "I Know I'm The Best"
4 years agoArizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins proclaimed to be the best receiver in the league during a recent appearance on ESPN's Jalen and Jacoby. Though Hopkins acknowledged the talent of both Michael Thomas and Julio Jones, the veteran blamed his shortcomings on the inconsistent quarterback play that he dealt with while he was a member of the Houston Texans. The 28-year-old did regress in terms of statistical output in 2019 despite Deshaun Watson maintaining similar numbers from the 2018 campaign. With a change in scenery and a potential breakout from Kyler Murray in 2020, Hopkins may have no one to blame but himself if he doesn't produce as efficiently as the other elite wideouts in the league.
