5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is meeting with doctors Monday to decide if surgery is needed on his throwing elbow, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com. The 37-year-old threw for 75 yards in the first half of Sunday's game against the Seahawks. However, Mason Rudolph took over in the second half and Roethlisberger never returned. Having flirted with the idea of retirement in the last, if the veteran signal caller requires surgery, it could spell the beginning of the end of his Hall-of-Fame career. Rudolph is nothing more than a mid-range QB2 if he becomes the full-time starter.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
