3 years agoFree-agent wide receiver and return specialist Dede Westbrook is working out for the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday. The 28-year-old played four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars before landing with the Vikings last year, where he totaled 68 receiving yards on 10 catches. He also returned 22 punts for 183 yards, and it seems that would be his primary role if Minnesota were to bring him back. Ian Rapoport reported that a few other teams are also interested in Westbrook and that he is expected to sign somewhere in the coming days. His last notable year as a receiver came in 2019 when he cleared 100 targets (101) with 66 catches for 660 yards and three scores as a Jaguar. He would only have fantasy value if he lands somewhere as at least the third receiving option, which would not be the case in Minnesota behind wide receivers Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen, and K.J.
