Dee Gordon Diagnosed With Deep Bone Bruise
6 years agoSeattle Mariners second baseman Dee Gordon (wrist) met with a hand specialist in Florida and he was diagnosed with a deep bone bruise in his wrist, but no broken bones. The veteran infielder will be held out of baseball activities for at least a few more days before he is re-evaluated to see how the injury is healing. Fantasy owners will want to keep him reserved until he can officially return and prove his health in a full game or two without any setbacks. Tim Beckham made the start at second base on Sunday in Oakland, with J.P. Crawford at shortstop, and Shed Long has also seen playing time at the keystone with Gordon down.
