6 years agoSeattle Mariners second baseman Dee Gordon is swinging a hot bat right now and is hitting .354 over his last 15 games played. Gordon is hitting a scorching .341 through 85 at-bats in the month of July and continues to spark the top of the Mariners lineup. The left-handed hitting speedster continues to rack up hits while also chipping in 25 stolen bases. The Mariners have a tough matchup Monday against the Astros expected starter Gerrit Cole. But Gordon is 8-for-19 (.421) lifetime against the right-hander and will be tasked with jump-starting the offensive attack in a huge series between division rivals.
