6 years agoSeattle Mariners second baseman Dee Gordon is not in Saturday's lineup against Tampa Bay. The Rays are starting lefty Blake Snell, so the Mariners likely decided to give Gordon a routine day off and play the matchup instead. Andrew Romine will be starting at second base in Gordon's place. Gordon has had a less than stellar June. He is batting just .188 with one run, eight strikeouts and an on-base percentage lower than his average.
