7 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Dee Gordon has hits in 13 of his last 14 games heading into Wednesday night's matchup against the Orioles. Gordon is beginning to bounce back from a slow start to his month of June, thanks in no part to a broken toe on May 20. He is slashing only .265/.276/.294 in June with only four stolen bases after stealing 16 in the previous two months. Gordon got off to a fantastic start this season, igniting an improved Mariners offense while hitting at the top of the lineup. He is a contact-first speedster with little power who has walked only once over his last 102 at-bats.
