6 years agoSeattle Mariners infielder Dee Gordon is finishing up the month of August strong, going 8-for-23 (.347) over his last six games played heading into Friday night's action. He has two doubles during this stretch and the mini-hot streak brings his batting average in August up to only .205. Gordon has suffered from inconsistency this season and has drawn only eight walks through 486 at-bats this season. His 29 stolen bases are an elite number in a category that no longer is prioritized in the game. But his low on-base totals (.298) and lack of power make him a tough play in fantasy.--Joey C - RotoBaller
