5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel cradled four of seven targets for 40 yards in Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals. Samuel made several clutch plays including a handful of grabs down the stretch, but he’ll probably dwell on one major missed opportunity. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo found Samuel wide open in the end zone during the first half but the ball clanked off the his hands. Rookie mistake. The second-round pick continues to work into the offensive mix but has yet to break out, with just 22 catches for 227 yards and a touchdown.
