3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel has officially requested a trade, but NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said on the Pat McAfee Show on Friday that Samuel's unhappiness with the team isn't "about the money." "From my understanding Deebo Samuel basically told the 49ers I want to be traded and don't make an offer," Rapoport said. Samuel may not have requested a trade had the Niners already made him a substantial offer for an extension, but that isn't the case. Despite the 26-year-old's trade request, San Francisco has no intentions of trading him. If this isn't about money, there's a good chance that Samuel just doesn't want to be used as a running back like he was last year. All in all, Samuel was the WR2 in fantasy and should yet again be extremely attractive in fantasy, whether he's in San Fran or elsewhere.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
