2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers star wide receiver Deebo Samuel is expected to attend the team's mandatory minicamp on Tuesday, according to a source. Samuel skipped all of the team's voluntary organized team activities, but it was always the expectation that he'd show up for mandatory minicamp despite requesting a trade this offseason. The 49ers continue to say that they have no plans to actually trade Samuel. The 26-year-old was invaluable to fantasy managers last year, as he finished as the WR2 behind the Ram's Cooper Kupp. Samuel caught 77 of 120 targets for 1,405 yards and six touchdowns and added 59 rushing attempts for 365 yards and another eight touchdowns. It remains to be seen if the Niners will continue to use Samuel in the backfield if they don't trade him, but even if they don't, he'll be an elite WR1 in fantasy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
