3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel caught nine of 12 targets for 189 yards and a touchdown in an impressive outing during Sunday's 41-33 Week 1 win against the Detroit Lions. Samuel was drafted as a WR3/WR4 behind Brandon Aiyuk, who was held to zero receptions against a bad Lions defense. Samuel experienced ups and downs, fumbling the ball late but also logging an impressive 79-yard touchdown reception to blow the game open in the third quarter. Samuel immediately becomes a WR2 with Garoppolo under center in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles.--Matt MacKay - RotoBaller
