Deebo Samuel Leads 49ers With Two Receiving Touchdowns
3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel caught eight of his 12 targets for 156 yards and two touchdowns during a 28-21 Week 4 loss against the Seattle Seahawks. Samuel has been the most dominant player within the 49ers' offense in 2021 and, as a result, is the WR3 in PPR formats. However, it may not make much difference if Jimmy Garoppolo misses time with a calf injury that he sustained on Sunday, as rookie Trey Lance found Samuel twice for touchdowns after he took over under center. Samuel has been one of the best values to start this season, as his ADP was in the seventh round in many drafts. Continue rolling him out as a WR1 against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5.
