5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel is trending up after playing 88 percent of snaps in Week 1. The rookie played more than any wideout and is likely the most start-worthy Niners receiver in Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals. However, head coach Kyle Shanahan tempered expectations by confessing that Samuel may have played “too much”. The second-round pick is an explosive playmaker so while his usage could be dialed down, Samuel wasn’t drafted to sit. With Dante Pettis (two snaps) looking to rebound and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo spreading targets indiscriminately, Samuel is still a risky WR4 despite the upside.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
