3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel caught one pass for 12 yards and rushed six times for 66 yards and two rushing touchdowns during a 34-26 Week 12 win over the Minnesota Vikings. The third-year wideout is built to run through defenders and has the elite vision and foot speed to hit running lanes with confidence. This has resulted in head coach Kyle Shanahan deploying Samuel as a ball carrier, particularly on motion sweeps and outside zone plays, allowing him to use his elite speed and physicality to hit the edge to deliver lucrative chunk plays. Unfortunately, Samuel suffered a groin injury during the fourth quarter and will undergo an MRI on Monday after remaining on the sideline for the final minutes of Sunday's win.--Matt MacKay - RotoBaller
