5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel netted five of nine targets for 39 yards and added three rushes for 53 yards in the Super Bowl loss against the Kansas City Chiefs. The electric Samuel was the best offensive player for the Niners and was heavily featured throughout the game. The 2019 second-round draft pick was hyped as a dual-threat all season and he showed it on the NFL’s biggest stage. Samuel emerged as the top aerial threat down the stretch and caps off a brilliant rookie year with 961 regular season scrimmage yards and six touchdowns.
