3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers star wide receiver Deebo Samuel won't be in attendance for the start of organized team activities on Monday, according to a source. Samuel's situation remains unsettled, so his decision not to show up this week shouldn't come as a big surprise. The 26-year-old All-Pro wideout asked for a trade this offseason, but the Niners don't have any intentions to trade him. Samuel, who is heading into the final year of his rookie deal, will certainly be paid eventually, whether it's in San Francisco or elsewhere. He finished second in overall fantasy points in 2021, behind only the Rams' Cooper Kupp. Samuel finished with 77 receptions for 1,405 yards and six touchdowns, adding 59 carries for 365 yards and another eight TDs.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
