Deivi Garcia Allows Six Runs On Sunday
4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Deivi Garcia struggled on Sunday, allowing six runs over only three innings against the Red Sox at Fenway Park. Garcia left a handful of pitches over the heart of the plate, and the Red Sox jumped on him for 10 hard-hit balls as a result. Sunday’s performance brough Garcia’s ERA up to 4.88 for the season after he came into the game with a 3.28 mark, and Sunday’s outing was Garcia’s first start in which he allowed more than four runs. Overall, fantasy managers should consider Garcia’s struggles on Sunday to be an off game with no real cause for long-term concern and expect the rookie to rebound in his next start.
